While browsing Autozone today, I saw they were having a "2 for $5" deal for Liquid Wrench products.

So since I've heard good things about the Liquid Wrench products, I bought some Lubricating Oil and a can of Penetrating Oil.

Now, I usually only use PB Blaster, WD-40, and 3-in-1 oil for most of my stuff (sometimes white lithium grease).

What I'm wondering is, does anyone have any experience with the Liquid Wrench Lubricating Oil?

Like for example, I use WD-40 for cleaning, protecting, or getting stuck parts ready for something more permanent like 3-in-1 oil or lithium grease.

the official description of the LW Lubricating oil is: "Lubricates with no oily residue. Dries fast to prevent the collection of dirt and dust. Lubricates and quiets. Use on interior door hinges, windows and locks. Leaves a white lubricant powder. Zero residual odor. Does not pick up dirt." (http://www.liquidwrench.com/products/#!/7)

So in theory, it's kind of like a combo WD-40 + Lube apparently?

I'm interested in people's experiences with it vs other stuff.

I've been using one tiny bottle of Slick50 One-Lube for 10 years now ... just coming to the end of it. It's never failed me in those 10 years. I seem to recall having used Liquid Wrench before that, but it's performance was obviously not so spectacular that it's remarkable after this length of time.

It works alright but nothing on the planet beats Kano Kroil.

I've heard how great that stuff is, but is it like insanely dangerous or something? Just on their website, to order, you have to agree to
ALL PRODUCTS PRODUCED AND DISTRIBUTED BY KANOLABS ARE FOR INDUSTRIAL USE ONLY AND ARE NOT INTENDED FOR RETAIL SALE, PERSONAL OR CONSUMER USE."

... Most "GOOD STUFF" is industrial and not intended for idiots. That said, acquaint yourself with all precautions, necessary accessories (masks, gloves, ventilation or whatever) ect., and reap the benefits of "industrial only" products, you won't be disappointed. :bounce:

On the other hand, DO NOT buy just because a product is industrial. I have saw a few occasions where the industrial product was no better than the retail one, just had less labeling.

In the case of kroil, just get it. It's a known decent product. Can't say "the best" as it seems every other week someone discovers a new obscure miracle oil.
