Today I went to a yearly held carboot-sale just outside my home-town.
It's situated in a field in the middle of nowhere. There a lot of "full-time sellers", so tool prices can be a little on the high side.

Today I got lucky.
For some reason I was drawn to a cheap Asian socket set, but when I opened it, I saw that the ratchet wasn't the original cheap one.

It was a Snap-on F936 ratchet, you don't see much Snap-on over here.
The seller only wanted €2/$2,25 for the whole box, Sold!

At another seller, I saw a Hazet Assistant tool-cart. I already walked by, but I went back just to ask for a price, they just wanted €15/$17 for it.:shocking:
Normally they go for at least €100/$115 locally, I just had to buy it.

This was a really good day! Normally I only find a lot of crappy tools at my local carboots.

Cheers,Jasper

Good catch !
I always try to remember to open up the cheap socket sets when I see them. Those import ratchets often go missing or fail and get thrown out. I like to check out what they replaced it with. Mostly it ends up being Craftsman around here, but every now and then you get lucky.

I don't always check the boxes, because we Dutch can be real cheapskates and just buy another cheap box.:lol_hitti
