ludell vise

Hi, my first post here. I just acquired a Ludell #6 vise and I haven't been able to find ANYTHING about this. I'm picking it up this weekend. It has an enclosed screw and rotating base.

Based on the script on the vise it is the same company that used to make a lot of big farm machinery in the 40's and 50's, but again, no mention anywhere regarding Ludell vises.

Can anyone help me out on this. Thanks.

Don't know anything about your vise, but if it is as nice as the photo, it is really nice.
