Worked with a guy a few years back that had a stud and lug nut thread cleaner kit. It was basically a stand that had 5 or 6 male thread chasers in the most common sizes and matching color coded female thread chasers with a 3/8" square drive. About the size of a deep 1/2 drive impact socket. Lost contact with the guy but have been looking for that set or something similar for a while with no luck. Any leads?

If you're not trying to actually repair the threads, you could use a battery post brush on the studs to clear them of rust, debris, and/or antiseize.
