Lumber prices going down

There is a fellow I follow on YT who does garages, he's got them down to a science as far as pricing. He had a vid today showing how the cost of materials is going down but the supporting products, synthetic underlayment, metal roofing, garage doors have gone up tremendously offsetting any savings in the framing products. His YT handle is Kens Karpentry if you want a look, I have no affiliation with him I just find his approach interesting.

Price has dropped 2$ since Saturday. Hope this trend continues!!

Interesting, seems we shop at the same Home Despots. Definitely still going down, although still quite a bit higher than before Covid. I paid $6.99 for MicroPro Sienna 2x4x8s this time last year.

Pressure treated is still cheaper than kiln dried fir/spruce here..

putting a new floor in an outdoor porch. while I don't need PT because it's covered/enclosed
it is open below.. and it's cheaper soo in it goes..
course I have to use more expensive fasteners
