Lump's last question for tonite...Snap On

Folks,
I picked up a set of Snap On hex ball drivers, Snap On set # 206EFABL, last summer, planning to keep it in my tool box. But the other night when I was looking up some tools in the current catalog, I decided to see what these are worth. HOLY COW! The catalog lists them at $155!

The plastic case is a little dirty, but the tools themselves are in pretty nice shape.

Now, I know very well that used tools are worth nothing close to the price of new tools. But I wonder what these might be worth, in your opinions. If they would bring more than $50, for example, I couldn't afford to keep them. I have THOUSANDS of allen wrenches, and since I am not a professional tech, they will go months between uses anyway. I do need to sell some tools to make room for others that I want, so I am trying to decide what to do with these.

Your opinions, please?

Id wipe down the tray with some simple green and put them up for sale. You could check 'completed sales' on ebay or scan the classifieds here, but from the hip, Im guessing you could get 65-70 for them

im going to also say that ebay is prob your best bet. if it says snap on and its on ebay it usually brings in a fair amount of cash.

Those can be really useful in certain situations; especially these new cars with cramped and tight quarters! As the old saying goes... you can never have too many tools! Do any of the cars or things you work on have standard allen fasteners? These are great sockets; because you don't have to get to the fastener head on (can get it at a angle, reach those hidden "down there" fasteners!); I'm noticing that less and less things I work on... are standard, metric seems to be the new "standard"! One thing about these (if you need them); they will last and be the "one time purchase" that should really hold up! I don't see you warranting these every other day; like the cheap stuff!
