I figured it was about time to join, been lurking but as of yesterday bought some property to build a nice new house and garage Currently we've got a small house with a 3 car garage (and the garage is absolutely packed!), the new house is shaping up to be a 3 1/2 or 4 car garage with a spancrete floor and a workshop underneath. The lot slopes down towards the back so I'll be able to have an exposed basement and a garage door out from the rear of the house. I've been getting lots of ideas from everyone on here, someday I'll have pictures of it to post..

Welcome to GJ, Haywood. Congrats on your new adventure. Having a garage with a shop below sounds like a cool idea. Almost wouldn't need a lift if there was an access panel in the floor... Feel free to ask questions as you go and you will get plenty of answers, some might actually be helpful.
