Lurker from Wisconsin

Hello Everyone!
I have been lurking here a while, mostly picking up ideas to use in my modest workshop here and there. I have a two car attached garage that I use basically for parking cars, a small wood working shop in the basement, and a 1 ½ car detached garage for use as my mechanical shop. Nothing very big or fancy, but I have enough tools to get the job done most of the time. My main hobby is restoring and modifying cars, and doing home remodeling projects.
Some of the garage builds on this site are nothing less than spectacular and more than a little humbling. It is great to watch some of you guys put together these amazing spaces filled with cool stuff.

Thanks for the welcomes - I know you guys like pictures, but I don't have many of just the workspaces, so here are a few photos although they don't really focus on the workshops.

The first one is the basement wood shop although all of the woodworking tools are out of frame to the left.

The second one is the detached garage while prepping the floors for epoxy.

The third one is one of my projects putting the little garage to use.

Looks like a nice setup you have there.
That's a nice Blue on that Corvette. Is that an original color? I have a black '64 coupe

It is the 64 Daytona Blue, but it looks lighter and brighter in that photo.

I feel fortunate to have the space and toys that I have. I have made do with much less, and sure wouldn't complain about more.

It has been a tough winter to be a car guy in Wisconsin. I hear we have winter weather warnings again tonight. Maybe we should switch hobbies to snowmobiles.

Yeah, the blue looks very nice in your picture. It does look different than the original blue in the pic though.

I could use more room to work on my & others stuff too, but I have to make do with what I have right now.

I'm glad winter is "almost" over... it's been a rough one. I was considering snowmobiles also, but it was too damn cold for that too.
