Thanks, yes, She's pretty awesome. I used to store an old Z in the space...back in my "i wanna have a cool car and be able to fix it too" stage... I sold it to get started on this awesomeness. But she's pretty supportive on most things...I half joked about taking the rest of the barn space for other spaces...and she said go ahead! So we'll see. Thanks for commenting and checking out my project.

Thanks kazlx. Space isn't at a premium quite yet here in the midwest. We are fortunate enough to have some space and I'm even more fortunate to have the barn with a concrete floor that I can utilize. Thanks again for commenting and checking out the progress.

Well...day 4 down and we have power and lights. Unfortunately we killed our intervalometer so we didn't capture enough photos to make a video.

Here is a shot of the space. We have the lights hung temporarily so they'll be moved from where they are after we hang drywall.

Think real hard about what ya use for the ceiling....A friend of mine had that foil backed insulation that he had exposed on his and his kids were working on a garden tractor that back fired out the carb.....He couldn't get to the garden hose fast enough to put out the fire....Lost everything.

I appreciate the heads up, though. There will be finished drywall over the insulation. We are doing insulation in 2 weeks!

speaking of images... the previous images are gigantic in size...any clue on how I can insert them without making you have to scroll around (top to bottom and left to right) just to see the entire image.

Aha! Finally figured out how to add some coding bits to keep the images in side the posts. Hope this looks better. Thanks to everyone for checking in on this.

Day 5.
We had a few small things to do today. The tasks complete were, hook up our fourplex on the center column, run wiring for thermostat for heaters, install conduit, frame openings for AC and vent fan, install AC and vent fan, insulate walls & ceiling. We didn't do the entire space but made good progress. The next work day should be in a month and we are planning to deal with "sealing" the space up with weather stripping and an interior portion for the door. Keep your eyes peeled!

Time to do some wall insulation and this proved much easier... we got it down to about one minute per batt... we thought it was good for never doing insulation before.

Re: Barn Fit out for woodshop.

Bump for fun. Its been a slow winter. Hope to have day 9 and 10 videos up soon. We will be working again in two weeks.
