I've been reading but never had a reason to post; until now.
I'm married, retired from one career and 6+ years into the next.
Children are out of the house and The Bank of Dad is largely closed for business.
Posting a question about an old Athol vise, one of two I have (don't ask), that I finally got around to trying to reinvigorate to the extent possible.
I will end by saying I've enjoyed reading from a group that experienced, passionate about what they do for a living or with spare time, and the willingness to patiently share. As for the last point, I'm counting on more of the same. :)
Kind regards,
Vic

Welcome to GJ. Post up some pics when you get a chance -- of tools, shop, projects. We love pics.

I'm also from California (SF bay area), and most of my relatives are also from TX/OK. I spent most of my childhood in Amarillo.

Thanks for the contact, everyone.
I have a very modest work area but it suffices for what I do, which is mostly repair my childrens' mistakes, and working on 4x4 rebuilds and repairs. Right now into a limited restoration of a '74 Ford hiboy. Therapy really. Keeps my mind off work. I'll post some pics one of these days. You won't be overwhelmed. LOL
