Awesome garage, Lyle! Question... how is your liftsplusdepot.com lift holding up? I came across them on CL here in PA and considering their equipment.
I hadn't checked in since you completed the build. Man it looks fantastic, and I -love- the green floor!!
If that is like the Atlas BP8000/9000 (I have a 9000, yours has a few differences) you'll be happy. My motor or transmission are weak and can't lift a load from a loaded start. I have to set it on locks and then lift it. This can be fixed for sure, and it wasn't a problem for the first six months (hundred plus lifts? 4 of us share the lift weekly/weekendly). Its not as nice as the brand new Rotary's I was use to as a tech student or the older Rotary I had at my old shop, but that's OK, it was ~1/2 the price and fits my shop!
What maintenance did you have to do?
Oh, some of my cables are starting to snap after 2yrs. We checked cable spec (I forget, not in Machinery's Handbook but a similar book I believe) and its fine now, but its a little sketch that cables snap with <1/2 the rated load on it. My old employers lifts ranged from 15 to 25 years old, and they didn't have any snapped cables and they were definitely original being he owned them since new! You can get replacement cables that have a better COO than Chinaland.
