Always down for a good m12 deal but I really have to question why the 3.O exists. It's as large as the 4.0, 6.0, 5.0 HO etc, but less capacity.

Meanwhile, the CP3.0 is much more compact with similar capacity, and the CP 2.5 HO, which likely has similar capacity in actual use due to the higher current capacity, is available for $35.

Maybe that's why they're clearing out the XC 3.0?

May be a good deal, don't really know, as I'm now going with the High Output batteries when replacing my old batteries as needed. I agree with what GeoBruin said with size and capacity, especially with the M18 High Output batteries. Bought 4 of the M18 3.0ah High Output batteries last year to replace some of my standard Redlithium 4.0Ah and 5.0Ah batteries, and very impressed with them so far. I haven't tried the M12 High Outputs yet, but will when the time comes.

The 3.0's are usually on sale around this time, They would go for about 69$ a couple years ago though, better deal overall then. Old tech I suppose, but they work ok and are fairly inexpensive. I had picked up a 5.0 HO, different plastic case then the 3.0/4.0 (improved? time will tell) and was impressed how long it went before it needed recharging.
