so my 6 year old pre fuel m12 driver and drill set it finally about to go out. Who has the best deal on the m12 fuel set? (the 1/2 drill and 1/4 impact driver) I have wanted to upgrade for awhile but couldn't kill the old set.

If the batteries are the same, why not just get the bare tools? I don't have much knowledge on the older stuff so I'm not sure if it is compatible, but if it is, it's likely much cheaper. I have been getting my Milwaukee stuff from Amazon or Ebay.

Set up a price watch on amazon, they sometimes drop their prices significantly.

Homedepot often runs free battery or baretool deal, monitor their promotions and offers page, I bought most of my tools kits during such an event.

As stated earlier, the fakes are pretty easy to spot. #1 give away is that "Milwaukee" isn't on the side. You'd be surprised how many people sell "generic" batteries and don't even try to copy the writing.

The other giveaway is the price. If it's super cheap, it's probably a counterfeit/knockoff. I ALWAYS make sure to read the description and return stipulations well and make sure that I don't buy a battery from a seller that doesn't accept any returns.

Home Depot has some great bundle deals lately, and are an authorized seller.
