I couldn't find a place to post this, so here it is..I have 3 light switches from a M151A2, they don't work(I did the moving of the levers back & forth to clean the contacts--no change). These hard to find, just got 1 from a vender--don't work--. there must be something I am over looking or I have 3 bad switches
Thanks,

I remember using the switches, but don't know how they are made inside. It seems like they must be a very simple design.

I suggest looking for a product called DeOxIt that is used to clean switch contacts. You may be able to spray it inside the switch to reach the contacts, and then work them back and forth to remove oxidation.

Is that switch different than the 3 lever one used on everything until the push button electronic lighting control was introduced? While not particularly cheap, what built for the military is, they seem easily available. I found brand new ones on eBay and Amazon.
