HahahaAre you saying they aren't already Chinese batteries?

If 2 of those batteries could run this saw all day, the price would be worth it.

Holy ****. Milwaukee is just stomping everybody's guts out with this stuff. A NINE amp hour battery? That might actually make those angle grinders and circ saws well worth a ****.
A M18 portable mig welder ...
FYI I'd like to know how much they are going to charge for these, or if they're already in retail how much they charge, but I just threw 250 out there as a guess, but if I were to guess again, I'd take it down to 200.its probably their solution to dealing with makitas dual battery pack line.. instead of doing 36v and long runtime, why not just double the runtime of the 4.0 packs when the tools have enough power already.
although 250 is getting steep for a battery that is going to eventually need replacing long before a tool. sounds like contractor (heavy duty at that) grade stuff, like a guy who is gonna be on a roof all day and not coming off to get a charged battery.... even though they don't make nailguns lol.
Is that a ten inch?If 2 of those batteries could run this saw all day, the price would be worth it.

You know that actually makes a lot of sense. To all those who say they need a 9Ah battery for an angle grinder, may I ask why? A 4-5Ah should work for 15-30 minutes at least under high load.

I'd say it's just their solution to cordless tool world **********.
M18 wood chipper?

M18 forklift?![]()
ROTFL.
Ok, I'll add:
M18 cement mixer?
M18 jackhammer?

M18 Prius?
M18 television?
Because we need to grind for longer periods of time.
Some of us use grinders/metabos all day long, so yes....
For instance this past weekend we had some demo and fab to be done to a new product line at a food production plant that our company services. When there are 15 guys there and everyone has stuff to do and ur all running grinders and 6" Metabos and welders, and figting for places to plug in.... 15min of run time and 1hr charge isnt going to cut it for us to go to cordless grinders.
*Note, production food lines dont have much for accessible power drops or plugs... tends to all be hardwired in via the electricians lol.
