These are still $49 in store. If you have a True Value 50% off $50 or less you should be able to get this for $24.50. I just did! I have never been able to find these coupons online, only in local print circulars. Note despite the big text "Friday" the coupon is valid thru 12/2.

What the hell I'm gonna do w a blower I have no idea! I didn't even want the EGO 56V I won here LOL

So I just came to the realization that this can work as an inflator for mattresses. We have this Coleman air mattress that we inflate for guests and everytime I try to fill it in the shop my BIL and I are like monkeys f'ing a football because the mattress valve is huge relative to all my air blow guns. Plus we're awkwardly trying to keep the mattress off the shop floor which is always full of abrasive dust, mud, metal chips and everything else you'd never want an air mattress to touch. Now I can just bring the blower in the house. Damn, this will make life easier.

The coupon is for one non-sale/clearance item, doubt any cashier with a pulse will ignore that on a 50% coupon. You got lucky!

Nope, it doesn't show as sale in store. Just a white tag at $49. It might have said New Lower Price, I didn't notice. But NLP means nothing at HD, sometimes it's a long-term price reduction, sometimes it's 2 days. But nothing indicates its normally $69 "on sale" for $49. It just looks to be priced at $49.

Furthermore in the half-dozen threads spread across the board about the $99 M12 kit (down from $169, no wait -- down from $129 -- no wait now $99 sometimes) DOZENS of people have used competitor's coupons on that $99 price. I personally used a Lowes 10% while others have used Northern Tool, HF 20%, or military discounts etc. HD's concept of a "sale" is unconventional in most cases, it's more like a temporary price reduction. As always YMMV.

I tried using the true value coupon and the manager said they would never do 50% off. They did however give me 10% and I was happy with that. It's fairly powerful for what it is.

I didn't know it was regular price, sorry. People made it seem like a holiday sale.

The HF and Lowes coupons do not exclude sale/clearance items like the True Value one does. Even so, like you said... Depends who you get and their manager(s) :)

My HD just accepted a 2nd one of these on a $40 Ryobi 4.5" grinder (with the rotating handle). We have a female friend who's just getting into welding (she actually ordered the $200 Eastwood 135 discussed here) and is starting from scratch, so no remorse over getting her a basic grinder for $20 as a foundation!! She couldn't believe it would work, I told her never hurts to ask.

Ace Hardware stores. Or True Value? I don't know how they're affiliated anymore, I was used to seeing them side by side, but apparently not anymore?

I printed off the OP's picture and trimmed it real nice.......then copied the heck out of it. 5 trips to the store w/5 different cashiers. I even double fisted it 2 times.

If you double fist it make sure you do separate transactions....I think they can only take one discount of the total....

I went to HD on Friday for Christmas lights... walked passed a end cap and saw the $50 blower, never thought I'd buy one but it has been fun chasing the woman around the house with when she's not expecting me to be hiding behind a corner. I'll probably eventually use it on the rain gutters and yard leafs once it warms up outside.

Are you talking about the EGO 56V mower? I bought one a few months ago and it has been working out pretty great even with wet grass and wet 8" tall grass when we 1st used it. Although I do get a lot of **** for it not being a Dinosaur drinker. It'll run for about 40 minutes with normal height grass, and 30 when it's wet/tall. Charge time has been around 30 minutes.

I figured they would reject a copy. I have a local Ace store so I was suprised not to see the coupon this year. Will try printing it.

I went to the local True Value to pick one up and they had the ad but it was w/out the coupon. I did not think they would take a copy either bit nothing ventured nothing gained. I hope it works out for you, I going to hit them one more time.

I don't want to waste any paper

Went to 3 stores on my commute home this evening. First store was VERY simple, no questions asked. I used it at self checkout, then used it at the service desk. Second store wouldn't take it at self checkout because it was a print out and the service desk was busy so I left. Third store had a manager at self checkout and said "she just can't give 50% off even though it is their policy".... not sure how that made sense. BUT, it worked at the lumber/pro desk and the service desk.

Overall, SUCCESS! Might try it tomorrow in case a clerk doesn't know what the date is. $20 for 24" Bessey clamps are worth being turned away.

So I just got mine, the blower is actually pretty decent. Moves more air than the Black and Decker 20v blower that came packaged w/ my 20v string trimmer, and that was actually meant for outdoor use.

Managed to get mine improved after a cashier even tried to deny it once the manager approved it "do they sell those there" and the manager goes "probably not but who cares". Pretty impressed with it I must say, I blew some leaves around with it to see how it'd work!

I don't understand...how can you scan a coupon from True Value at Home Depot? If the cashier/manager has to do it manually won't they ask where it came from?

They have to ask for help, and it's entered as a competitor coupon/discount.

So yeah some of you are braver than I; I just had two originals I used. They do this every year and I've never understood why the Ace coupon is so widely discussed when the annual TV is a way better deal ($50 item vs $30 item) but I guess the TV is more regional while Ace is nationwide? I guess?

Next year I'm going to figure out which newspaper this comes in and buy a dozen of them; even if its $1 per paper that's a good deal.

Did they notice that it was expired?

No they no longer accept "photo copy's" due to a morning memo!

I do not want to think I changed policy at my local HD but I hit them hard buying all the husky containers and all the Dewalt tough boxes.

Like I said ... I still bought the other tools at full price...

I respect HD position and will shop there again........

I printed it in color on bond paper and "tore" it out. Wrinkled it for effect also. This avoided the "we don't accept print outs" response. I did this after the second store I went to told me that.

I looked over those Dewalt tough boxes, and can't figure out when they would really be useful. They seem heavy/bulky and don't hold much.

You're supposed to buy a million of them a put one tool in each box. :eyecrazy:

I got the Milwaukee toolbox w/ the coupon, it's really well thought out and fits a ton. I have in mine:

M18 Fuel sawzall
M18 Fuel 6-1/2" circ saw
M18 Fuel 1/2" hammerdrill
M18 Fuel 3/8" impact wrench
M12 Fuel 1/4" hex impact driver
M12 jigsaw
M12 rotary tool
M12 multi tool
2 x M18 XC batteries, 2 x M18 2.0Ah batteries
4 x M12 2.0Ah batteries
Dual voltage charger
Bunch of sawzall blades
Blow molded Bosch drill bit set

And it still has room for some more consumables.

I think in the future, I'll split them up though, this box (a) is heavy, and (b) needs time to pack/unpack every time you want to get to a tool. I have three Festool systainers right now and have my eye on some more, the stackability and ability to get to a tool mid-stack saves a lot of time.

I still have my receipts...life is a game will see how things work out. I will have a hard time putting all my Dewalt tools in a Milwaulkee BOX...:dunno:
