M18 hackzall

First wanted to get a cordless reciprocating saw, then a cordless jigsaw. Now the hackzall.

Any alternatives? Is it worth the hype?

They don't make an M18 Fuel hackzall (yet).

M18 hackzall, or M12 Fuel Hackzall, take your pick, they're both excellent and both similarly sized from what I hear. Or you can get the M12 Hackzall which is noticeably smaller.
