Hello all, I'm having an issue with my Milwaukee circular saw. It cuts in and out repeatedly. It does it mostly on start up and sometimes it will cut out mid cut. The saw is about 5 or 6 years old and has seen light use. From what i have read it may be the switch but I'd like another opinion buy the part and wait for it to arrive. I've disassembled the saw and cant see any visible damage to the switch or any other part inside the saw.

Hi! Yes I did try 3 other batteries. When i disassembled the saw i made sure to clean the inside and the battery contacts as well.Battery ? Have you tried different batteries, same result ? And have you checked and cleaned all the contacts ?

I had a 6 1/2” Fuel and changed the switch and it worked for a month or so before it died a second time. Wish I could help, mine was lightly used and stored in case, no drop, or any other cause I could find, and it was cheaper to replace then send for service.
