I have a nice Milwaukee The Hatchett cordless sawzall

Unfortunately it uses the older M18 nicad pack and the batteries dont last long

Is there an adapter that I can use my M18 liuthim batteries with the sawzall?

V18 was still li-ion, though

Not sure about adapters for ni-cad, let us know what you find

Woops, sorry, I always assumed V18 tools were Nicad & they offered li-ion batteries for them later. I guess the V18 name was for the actual li-ion battery for the old 18V nicad tools?

But if you search V18 to M18 adapter, some of the listings say 18V nicad to M18 adapter. I don't own any of the old Milwaukee 18V tools so you'll have to do some research looking at the pics of the adapters to see if they'll work for you.

I found and ordered an M18 adapter today for $20 shipped

Should be here in two days

The sawzall is a darn good tool but the old nicad batteries can't compete with the M18 lithium lineup

Hopefully it works!
