Hello
I purchased two M3163 drawer slide clips for an 1960's Craftsman box from Sears. It is way too short. On the RH side of the pic is one I made. It has lasted for a while but I really want the correct part. Any ideas? I believe the part from Waterloo is the same as Sears. Except, I paid more for it, waited longer for it, and it is non returnable. Not a huge loss, but feel stupid. I knew it looked different than what I had, but I was hoping it would work. If I can't buy the correct thing I am going to make a new one from a large size cotter pin. Just being lazy and want to buy a couple of the right ones if available.

For anyone searching the web for an answer...
I was at Home Depot and saw 5/32 x 2-1/2 inch cotter pins. A little work with the vise and pliers, I made a new one. It is important that you work with the looped end slowly to prevent the pin from distorting sideways.

Anyone ever have any luck finding a part number or supplier for the clips like Flattie was looking for? I made about 3 of these things from a wire coat hanger before I ran out of patience, especially since the round wire doesn't fit in the rail clips as well as the original flat strips. I've searched high and low and been unable to find anything but the M3163 clip, which definitely is NOT the correct one.

Thanks in advance! I will update if I can find anything.
