I've recently inherited my parent's MAC 3/4" drive socket set. 17 Z sockets all different, Z2R ratchet, breaker bar, and 4" extension. There was no case. They are in beautiful condition. I would imagine they date late 60's to mid 70's. The sockets just say MAC Sabina, Ohio and the Z#. Does anyone know what they might bring on eBay? I can't even find a price for a set of new 3/4 MAC. What color was the original case they would have come in? I also have a set of CRAFTSMAN 3/4 circle K with box, sliding T bar and 2 extensions, no ratchet. The chrome is pretty good on the sockets. Any ideas what to ask on eBay for these? I also have an identical set of old S-K.

SK made the Craftsman Circle K, hence why they are identical. I would look up completed listing for vintage sets, and judge from those. Local sales are almost always less than ebay.

Wow, there’s a lurker, joined 6 years ago, and made his first post today! Well done sir, way to stay in stealth mode!

I do not have that much self control. I joined just to see the pictures of stuff, and way too many posts later…..

Maybe some pics. They sound pretty nice.

My experience is that 3/4" doesn't attract many buyers, but you might have an exception to that rule. I also would welcome pics

MAC Sabina, Somebody wants those. Question is: will they see them in time... Snap-on will fetch more as decent quality replacements are still available but I'd guess those would be in the high average price range among vintage quality 3/4" sets.

We need photos.

With the probable purchase date the ratchet should be a New Britain / Kilness.

I have a 3/4 Mac Sabina set w/ box. The case is red with a round Mac logo on the lid.

Was my grandpa's.
