Mac air drills

I am thinking about a couple of Mac tools air drills 3/8 and 1/2 these are new . They are on Craigslist for $150.00 . What do you think about the drills ? Do they work good ? How do they compare to snap on air drills ? Thanks

Most of the Mac air drills going back many many years are rebranded IR drills.

Solid product with the standard 'tool truck" and "MAC brand" markup.

Used air tools are a **** shoot. Not a lot of ways to tell wear and usage and if not oiled or cared for, they are a poor tool investment.

Caveot emptor totally applies.
I personally only buy used air tools from friends, coworkers or rebuilt off the truck.

It's just too big a risk unless the price is so low you cannot pass and have the money to gamble and lose.

Yes he did I went and bought them , they were brand new in the box for $100 for both of them model # ad540 3/8 reversible and a model # ad590 1/2 reversible drill . I will give them a good workout .
