I bought some flare-nut wrenches from a local pawn shop which contains multiple brands. Once I got home I noticed 2 of them are a little rustier than I prefer and may not be usable. Does MAC and MATCO warranty rusty tools?

Mail them in and tell them you bought them from a local pawn shop. At worst case, they could just throw your junk wrenches to a trash can and leave you alone.

Really?!?

You buy some off pawn tools and want MAC and MATCO to "warranty" the ones with their name on them, because they are rustier than you prefer?

Why then did you buy them??

A company can't win with customers like this...

Honesty the Matco is not that bad, it is just that some of the finish has wore off of the handle.

I agree with you completely. It is 100% my fault for not making certain of what I was buying before purchasing. I am just exploring my options. I really don't expect either company to warranty either tool, but I thought that it may have been an option.

Maybe a better question would be:

How would I manage to save these tools, and extend the life of them?
