I have had this box since it was new and I'm out growing it. I would like to find another box to match it, or make one. None of the gold plated pieces are available, and I haven't had any luck finding an original.
Any ideas? Thanks

That looks like a MB9100 top and MB9200 bottom.

Look at you! It is a MB9100 + a MB9200. I was thinking about anodizing (sp?) a chrome set of handles. What does an auto trim place do to color parts, emblems ect?

Man that thing is bling. 2 side by side would be a nice combo. Not too tall or too big of a foot print.

Thanks, I've always liked the look of the red and gold on the box. Probably why I never traded out of it. I think two side by side would look good, just need to find his brother.

When I last worked at a Toyota dealer, they had a guy there that did all the "Gold Package" options. That consisted of coloring all the outside emblems on the car gold. He would spray the emblem down with water (or what looked to be water) and place a sheet of gold film against it, then he'd zap the emblem with a a small electrical lead hooked up to some kind of electical gadget. The procedure seemed to be effective because the gold never came off after that.

When I lived in NYC, most of those emblems were plucked off by some %^$@#@'s, who thought they were worth alot of money, I guess. In Maine you could have a solid gold truck, with a dead deer in the back. The only thing at risk for being stolen, would be the deer.:eek2:

I was looking at those(the emblems) and I don't know if that's going to look right. They appear to be too dark/goldy.<------that look's funny(dark/goldy?). Hope you understand what I'm trying to say.Might have to get some test pieces.

Hello
I'm new to the board.
I have an anniversary edition top box and I'm looking to buy a matching bottom box.
Any leads would be appreciated.
