Hey guys, was wondering youre thoughts on the mac axis series of ratchets.they look sweet and i read that they engage 20 teeth at a rip. I have 3 dual 80's (1/4,38,1/2") standard ratchets -love them! but im looking to pick up a new 1/4 and 3/8 flex head to replace the 1/4 tekton and wright 3427 that i have (new but the head detents and round head selector are drivig me nuts). So if anyone has input that would be great. Mac guy does not stop at our shop unfortunately, but a buddy of mine sees one on a regular basis.thanks#

They have been discussed here in a few threads. Try searching for mac 90 tooth ratchet. Anyway, the 1/4 drive versions are coming but, they're not out yet. soon though:dunno: MAC did a kind of slow phased launch of these ratchets first with 3/8 drive, then 1/2 drive, and releasing 1/4 drive last.
I have a few in 3/8 drive. They're nice. On the flex heads, MAC put the ears on the ratchet head instead of the handle. I'm not sure on the 20 tooth engagement you quoted, it may be less than that. I like them though. I'll probably grab a flex head 1/4 drive when they're released. They seem slightly heavier than the F80 model.
