Picked up a set of mac line/flare wrenches and I can't find any info on them even by part number either I'm doing something wrong or I don't know what.

Part number is cobr11mm .... and so on
Haven't hand a chance to use em yet but can anyone tell me about them. Don't see them on macs website either. Thanks

I think those may be discontinued. I don't have a current MAC catalog but, you can view their current catalog online at their website. The Mac website isn't very user friendly. :dunno:

your wrenches are listed in my 2006 MAC catalog. I'm not sure what information you're looking for. They were available in sizes 10-14mm. basically a modified combination flare wrench with a flare end on one side and one of those funky speed open ends on the other side.

Post a picture so, everyone gets the idea.

Wondering if they work well. And how they hold up I guess. Being discontinued I hope it wasn't for terrible reasons. Problems with posting pictures right now I'll try later

I'm sure the flare end will work just fine. Sometimes those speed open ends just take some getting used to. It's a MAC product so, it should serve you well. MAC discontinues good tools that might not be top sellers. :dunno:

Heres a shot. I have a set of speed style craftsman wrenches that I think are just horrible, but this mac design is completely different and looks somewhat promising. I won't use the set too often as I'm a vw mechanic, but should get the jobs done on the older American stuff I tackle.

Plus the price I paid, definitely can't complain

I would like to mention I got a chance to use these, and they actually work surpisingly well. Atleast when you have room for it, kinda screwed if you need to flip wrench other direction to get a better angle on it.
