mac impact not working properly.

well mr. mac guy brought a whole cart of used tools today since i asked him to. i wasnt interested in most of the stuff, but i did set my eye on a set of snap on e torx sockets, a matco die grinder, and an older mac 1/2 impact. we settled on $50 and i was happy. well, the impact works pretty well in reverse , but not the greatest in forward. about half to three quarters torque i would say.

its a mac aw435 and google hasnt turned up **** but ebay and other forsale ads. i am wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction as to what is wrong with it or where i could get parts as i'm sure it isnt a mac exclusive model

I got the 3/8 version of this impact. Mine was weak too, took it apart, cleaned and replaced the damaged gasket (made my own) runs awsome now

I found the gasket. I flipped it down upside and it is better. What kind of material should I make the gasket out of?
