Hi I'm new to the community and had some questions about a mac macsimizer I just picked up off cl. It is 60x43x27 it appears to be an original macsimizer just wanted if someone had the original specs, year, price, what it might be worth? Let me know if you have any info on it I would appreciate it. I can't seam to find anything on macs website for this particular box seams to be a precursor to the mb1350. Not sure what the actual differences are. I picked it up for 800 seamed like a deal, so I bought it without doing my research first hope I did well.

I have the same box. I bought mine used about 8 years ago for $1700. When I got mine, they had already quit making that model, but I think it retailed around $4000 when new.

I think the 1300 is about 6 inches shorter in width than the 1350. Other than that they are very similar boxes.

Thanks for the response do you know the if drawer weights are the same as a 1350. Is the top drawer weight 400lbs and the rest 200lbs? The slides look heavy duty enough to handle the weight after a good cleaning and lube job. The box sat a long time in someone's garage, but the drawers and liners are like new on the inside. Guy thought he was going to be a mechanic then found out he couldn't cut it, so it sat accumulating dust and scratches on the out side but that's about it.

Sounds good I really needed a new box I was hunting cl for a couple months till I found the mac. I just couldn't stand the thought of buying a new craftsman for 1200 when there's stuff like this out there. I had my company go out of business, and they owned the box I worked out of. Let me keep all the tools I accumulated (they bought the tools) but with no box I was living out of tool bags and boxes for a min.

I think I stole this thing. Guy I bought it off need it gone in 8hours when he posted it. I came with a trailer and cash quick for it. Not even giving myself enough time to look into it. Just knew it was nicer than any cm for the money.

Great score! I did the same thing when I bought mine, hooked the trailer up to the truck and off I went with cash in hand.
Cheers!

I just picked up a Mac MB 1300&1310 combo for trade of my old box which was a MB1350 !
I only have the 1350 bottom so the 1300 in the 1310 as a combo was great for me and I got a smoking deal on it I traded in my paid off toolbox that I've had for almost 20 years for this toolbox and $1000 bucks , trade through my local snap on guy !! The best time to buy a toolbox is right before the tool shows because they need the room on the truck for the new stuff and he's been carrying around his toolbox for six months so I just made them a cash offer and my old *** worn out tool box for trade and he took the bait !! Not often that happens good score on the price man !!
