I bought this cart used a year and a half ago. The man l bought it from bought it new several years prior, and a back injury had pushed him out of work. He told me that Mac had put a recall on the drawer guides and had completely rebuilt them for free shortly before his injury, and that the box had spent most of its life sitting in his garage while he tried getting back to work. The drawers open and close flawlessly, and the box is in excellent condition. Wheels are solid and roll smoothly.
The top opens in two ways. You can open it upwards like a traditional box, or you can also slide it back, which allows you to use the top as a work space and still get to most of the items in the top compartment. It is a great feature for when you get everything set to go and then realize you left your drill in the top
The box measures approximately 46Hx39Lx23D. There are two 2.5 inch drawers and one 6 inch drawer. The top compartment is (I believe) 7 inches deep. It also features slots to hold screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, prybars, breaker bars, etc. As you can see I have been able to store what would otherwise be a drawer full of tools this way.
The bottom shelf has a 3 inch lip and you can store quite a bit of stuff on it. I usually carry a small shop vac and random items that I am not worried about getting stolen.
The box has two keys and the lock works great.
Price is firm. Box only, tools are not included. Located in Seattle at Seattle Children's Hospital
