MAC mb1500 with a cylinder lock...

i recently purchased a mac box with a cylinder lock. you know, that round key. my issue is there are no mac dealers in my area. is there any place i can get a key made off the number on the lock and have it mailed to me?

Just remove the tumbler and take it to your local locksmith. I know ours can cut round keys at their shop, and even if they couldn't, they could probably source another tumbler/key set for you.

i bought it locked. from a garage sale in south jersey, i tried to look and see if there were any access holes or anything to pop the lock and there isnt. i been at this for quite a while and im totally lost

Do you have a trailer?
If you do, put the box on the trailer and bring it to the locksmith. Doing so will save you the service call. The way an ace lock pick works is that once used to turn cylinder, it can be put in the key machine and a duplicate can be made.

Maybe you have already tried this, but cant you just call mac and tell them the number on the lock? I know I just bought a canopy that did not have keys with it. I found the manufacturer online and emailed them. A guy responded and sent them to me for $12.00.

Worth a shot.
