I have a MAC micrometer 0-1 that is out of calibration about 10 thousandths I need to find the wrench for it. Does anyone know who MAC sourced to produce these? Also would a Starrett wrench work on it, are the pretty much universal? My guess it was made by Fowler but I am not sure.

99% or more of the micrometers I cal use the same spanner.

Exactly. The spanner is just a pin and a curve that fits the barrel. Since most barrel diameters are pretty much the same, the wrenches are just about universal.
