I remember those were pretty common on ebay at some point.
I believe they are imported.

Had them, got them on Ebay. Used them for a while. Found out I paid over 100 bucks for imported pliers that developled surface rust in a couple weeks of owning them. I know have Knipex, if that tellls you anything.

my old boss has that set. yes they are imported, yes they look cheap (imho), no the red handles don't come off. i wouldn't have bought them i think you could buy channellocks for that price.

Thats the thing. The pliers are not "bad" pliers. But I couldnt stand that I paid almost as much as Knipex for rusty imported "channellocks". Check out Aktoolsonline.com for good prices. They sell small sets, but its best just to piece together what you want.
