Does anyone know where on the Mac Website I can order ratchet repair kits?
Can you even get them from there, or do you have to call them?

Snap on's website is a breeze and even gives chart to cross reference.

Break it really good and get them to send you tge axis ratchet . As much as I like Mac 30 tooth ratchets, the new axis is a 1000 times better.

I tried to get a kit for my red handle xr8-P, from the uk, since I live in Malta and they told me that they do not have kits for this older ratchet and that they do not ship out of the uk!!! I guess I'll have to look somewhere else.

That's odd, as i just bought a brand new xr8 a week or two ago (just a chrome handle one, to 'replace' my old red handled one was lost/stolen years ago) and as far as i know the kit is the same in the red hard handle ones? least it looks identical to my old one which was circa 2001 so they clearly still make them.

I could ask my dealer if i he can get a kit if you are still stuck, and ship it to you.

In my experience Mac backup/sales in the UK ***** a bit sadly, least in the last 15 or so years, so i wouldn't be surprised if its down to them not having a clue what ratchet you have.

Hi Ratchet. That is what they told me at least! This is an older ratchet because it has been in my Dad's tool box for as long as I can remember. If you happen to come across a repair kit and would be willing to ship it, that would be great. The kit would need to include the selector as it is missing on mine. Thanks

I will ask My mac dealer on thursday, and see what he says :) looking at the model number, yours looks identical to mine bar the handle so can't see it being an issue... will see though.
