I like that ratchet... but 10" handle seems a bit much for a 3/8. You defeat the purpose of having a smaller drive size. Might work in some cases.

Well, you might want to consider an FH80 (9-9/16"). At least a little shorter than 10", although you'll find a lot more around 8" if you forgo the comfort grip.

The Mac XRR8PA is different than the XRR10PA. It has a different mechanism, which I don't think they make any more. It is a dual-pawl design, different than the Facom design they have now.

I love the Facom palm design and the Mac comfort grip handle, as far as looks go. Don't know much about them. I don't know if a 10" handle would be a problem or not as i'm pretty new to working on cars...what do you all think about using that ratchet as your primary 3/8 ratchet? Is Mac a good brand?
