I picked up a 3/8 drive Mac ratchet at the flea market over the weekend. It is a model X7R. It works, but the gear is a little sloppy. I've looked at the Mac website and the catalog, and I can't find any listing for repair kits. Does Mac sell them like Snap on? How is Mac when it comes to warranty on something like this? I recently bought a old Snap on and e-mailed their customer service and they sent a repair kit right out free of charge. Is this something that the Mac trucks would stock? I've noticed that the Mac truck stops often at a couple of repair shops near where I work. I hope some of you guys that have dealt with Mac can let me know how to go about repairing this ratchet

X7R, is that an older round head ratchet? If so, it's obsolete and mac doesn't carry parts for the older ratchets. You would have to talk to customer service but, if the ratchet was broken I would send it it and Mac would probably send you the current version of the ratchet.

One more time...Mac's redeeming value - their mail in warranty
