Does anybody here have experience with the Mac 6 point rbrt sockets?
I just wanted to mention that the Mac sockets are the same as the gripEdge RPT sockets. GripEdge is the OE. The original. They licensed it to MAC for several years.Does anybody here have experience with the Mac 6 point rbrt sockets?
Gripedge?I just wanted to mention that the Mac sockets are the same as the grippage RPT sockets. Grippage is the OE. The original. They licensed it to MAC for several years.
I fixed the spelling and updated the caseGripedge?
Spelling is important for brands. Not sure if true but Google says that's the brand for RPT.
These are a little different, not extractor sockets but regular chrome sockets but with the same profile as the wrenches.I just wanted to mention that the Mac sockets are the same as the gripEdge RPT sockets. GripEdge is the OE. The original. They licensed it to MAC for several years.
Thanks. Not really looking for a daily driver more of a specialty set. Do they grip as nice as the end wrenches do?I have 2, 10mm and 13mm 13 is mostly used on FCA engine oil drain plugs after the rookies get done rounding them off with 12pts and splines the 10 front engine cover bolts, water pumps that the same thing has happened to ...........
For a every day socket they have a tight opening that's can be a bit cumbersome to put on the bolt.
Yes, if they do not remove it the next step is the extractor type sockets.Thanks. Not really looking for a daily driver more of a specialty set. Do they grip as nice as the end wrenches do?
