Hello ..I've been pulling this Mac S 89 E specialty wrench up on the Internet from time to time, hoping to find some info on it, but have never had success..Found info. on the Mac S 89, but not the S 89 E...Looking for its specialty and the year(s)if anyone has any info on it..Thanks

Wow, This is the first time in which I submitted something on garage journal and have not got an exact iudentification on my inquiry...Not complaining, it's just highly unusual...I think I'll hang onto this one..Thanks..This is and alloy artifacts is the best place to get info on tool on the Internet, and this by far is the best to get answers.

All of the references to the S89 wrench from the 1940s-1960s are as a Ford head wrench. The "E" suffix might be a design revision. The design of the S89 changed physically over the years perhaps for whatever Ford, Edsel, Mercury, Lincoln engine is was for. I don't know why more detail isn't in the catalogs than what is there.

What size if the box wrench end?

I would like to see the the outside of the end with the socket holder.
