Anyway thanks in advance if you guys need I'll post pics let me know.

Do you have a link to some? The only ones a saw were cabinet type handles. I need the chrome peices that cover the handles on a mac box.

I bought a used 50" Tech 1000 box and hutch. The plastic chrome trim on the top draw was pretty funky looking. The chrome portion of the handle was flaking off under the clear plastic. It is probably why the previous owner took all of the trim off. I will look into options, are you set on chrome?

The plastic drawer trim to my Mac Select box was only $3 per drawer. You could see if the profile on the drawer pull is the same between series.

if and when I get to making replacements you can have mine for the cost of shipping
the box cost me $700 so Im not going to complain like I would if had bought it new

May or may not work and it's plastic but... How about that plastic chrome edging you buy for your car doors. Should be fairly cheap and if you look around you may be able to find some custom colors. Maybe not wide enough...? Just a thought... I have a tech 1000 and don't remember what's on there.

no, sorry
I would need to make the ones first because if I find a deal on the snap on box I really want then I need this to be as sellable as it can be

bottom only

another option
how about the 'crome' mylar or decal material like they use for stickers

or

how about using that aluminum tape (for duct work)
if its put on nice it could work great and easy to remove when you get the trim you want

This is exactly what I am going through right now as well.bought a Tech 1000 and the trim is peeling and the last owner tried to use two pieces of 1/4" pinstriping tape butted up together. Looks like **** and he only did like two drawers. The profile on the bigger boxes/carts looks the exact same but the nice aluminum trim would cost me about 200 bucks!! No way!!

The plastic replacement ones are like 30 bucks for my setup. Not sure on yours. the plastic ones should be easy to find. I just have been focusing on the aluminum ones which I've found none of....

Yeah thy are around 30 and a little more for the full width drawer. It's just expensive because I have a top box that goes too so it's alot of drawers. Ends uP being just under 300 for all of them and they are plastic.

I convinced my mac dealer to warranty my plastic peeling draw pulls with the new aluminum ones. I said I was thinking about trading it in for a snap on, I think it scared him.

Hey I just happened to stumble across this page by accident & I actually registered as a member so I could reply to your chrome drawer attachment problem your having. Funny thing is I just literally 2 days ago had a similar problem. I moved my TECH 1000 with top Hutch from my old shop to the new one & in transit somehow while driving lost one of my drawer handles. My box is yellow so mine were black & it sure looked funny with 1 drawer not being black like the rest of the others. So I simply masked off the outside & inside of the drawer, Scuffed it lightly & shot some Black on it where the piece once was. It turned out so nice that i'm actually taking the rest of them off & doing them all that way. Looks 100 times better than the cheap plastic O.E. MAC ones. I even shot Clear over the black to keep it from scuffing or chipping in the future. Just an option for you. I took these pic's after only painting the 1 drawer. You can't even tell which drawer it is in the pic. ( It's the top drawer on rt.
