I couldn't find a date on this box. I didn't drag it out and look on the back. Does mac put a build date on their boxes? I was thinking this thing is from the 80s. The drawer pulls led me to think that. It's also got friction slides.

That box style was made up to '96 or so. I think Mac switched the drawer pulls in the late 80's. My guess is early 90's.

MAC made that box even in the early 80's. They are a very good box, kind of got pushed aside when MAC brought out the big toolbox/work bench in late '84. It kind of put Snap On on their rear end they had nothing to compete the old taco wagon was not even close.

Mid 80s MB910/920. By the late 80s they transitioned to ball bearings and added a 0 IIRC.

Cool thanks fellas. The slides need attention badly. When I do that I'll pull it out of it's corner and find the date, now that I have a better idea where to look.

As mentioned above, , no reason to move box. Should be a sticker top left behind top drawer. Every Mac box I've ever seen of that generation had one
