I personally don't know anthing about that particular box. It is pretty challenging to find info on the old Mac / Matco boxes. I have a box that is similar to that though, an MB503. What are the dimensions of your box? Is it stamped with a date and the model?

BTW, your box looks really nice. Do you have any before pics?

EDIT... One other comment. That looks like a waterloo made box based on the drawer pulls. IIRC waterloo made boxes for mac back in the day.

judging by drawer layout, and handle style, i'd say it was made sometime in the 70's.

later boxes (mid 80's) had the same drawer layout, but with a squarish drawer pull

I'm usually not a fan of white toolboxes but that actually looks great. Good work there. The white on chrome does it.

It is mounted on a work trailer that has 1000 gallon fuel tank ank white storage boxes so it became white too.

What are the dimensions of that box? Can you post a pic of the slides. I am pretty sure it is a 70's box made by waterloo. Based on the overall build style and drawer pulls. The date should have been under or to the right of the model "MB" stamp.

Again, beautiful box. So I take it you do portable work? I would hate to see that beauty out in the rain.

It didn't have a stamped number and date, it was a plate riveted to the box
Also it was only outside during summer in the Southwest, little rain if any
