I Recently Was Traded A Mac Tool Box, And I Honestly Don't Know What It's Worth, Of Any Of You Know The Price And Anything Else About It, Id Greatly Appreciate it. IT Says It's A Mac Tool Us Nationals Limited Edition.Dark Blue With A Dragster On it.
It's worth depends what part of the country you're in. Out here maybe a G on CL, maybe more b/c collector's edition, or just harder to sell b/c of collectors edition.
I don't pay going price b/c I'm stingy with my doll hairs.
Might be worth more where you are.
I know some dudes out here would ask 2.5k for it.
EDIT: is that fully loaded with tools? From them or you?
It would help if you could figure out what the model number of that box is. Or if it even corresponds to the regular line up. Mac made quite a few limited run promo boxes that were obscure and not near the build quality of their normal boxes. I don't know where that one falls.
Personally for me the graphics would lower the value. I don't like flashy boxes, even for home use. But that is JMHO
EDIT, after looking at the pics again, to me that doesn't seem like a $1000 box. It only has single drawer slides on the large drawers, unlike most heavy boxes that have dual slides.
Wow, I learned something. Didn't know they were made by Husky,,,,,,,,and I buy and sell tools and boxes
I had one in yellow, Gator Nationals I think and it wasn't much. Very worn and dirty. Bought on a dark rainy night, wished I hadn't but sold it quickly for a little profit to a good tool customer.
I do have to agree, that a grand is a good selling price, ask $1300 and see what happens.
Note, condition is everything. My pricing is based on excellent conditon
