I've been thinking about selling this box as I don't have much use for it but I haven't seen any similar ones for sale in my area to get a starting price.

Its a 26", has few scratches but nothing major, 13 bearing drawers, and original liners still in good shape. So anyone got ideas on what its worth?

Keep it and hand it down to your kids if you have any..

You cant really put a set price regardless for what they might be selling for.

I have a big snap on box since im a diesel mechanic. Have you tried contacting a snapon dealer or even matco dealer? They buy used boxes.

$300 would be tops for me assuming I wanted it.
But then I am a cheap ****

:+1:

The market is limited for that box and there is lots of competition. Picture is not good enough to be able to assess condition.

I used to be a diesel tech at the local Ford dealer so I've got a couple other boxes full of all my tools. I guess I haven't thought about the tool guys in awhile but i know my snap on guy wasn't real interested while I was working there.

Around here people would be selling a similar Craftsman setup in the $250 range. As a professional, I would expect significantly higher quality from a Mac box and therefore a higher price. What did it cost new? I would think minimum $4-500 if it is decent in person. Maybe more if it was a lot more money to buy new.

That is a nice box I would value it at $500. Its a color you do not see to often.

Sorry. I assume that comment is directed at me. Fair enough. By, "Around here" I am referring to the Twin Cities.

I wasn't thinking of you specifically, but thanks for adding your location. It's just frustrating when you want to help someone or get an idea what they're saying and there's not enough info.

I know in NE ohio those are probably 4-6 on CL, now I don't know how quickly those would sell but I've been searching and haven't been able to find a decent deal on that size.
