Does the Mac lifetime warrenty apply to thier roll aways?

Concerning a ball bearing slide drawers, the slides are worn out. I was told that Mac would cover this.

Any info is appriciated.

Thanks

I know Snap On boxes have a lifetime. Not sure about Mac's though. I would call Mac Tools customer service. 1-800-MAC-TOOLS, they could probably tell you

Well I'm glad I can add some information to this forum.

The MAC TECH 1000 I just bought has the ballbearing slides. Some of the slides are rouogh in opening and the rest open on thier own with the slightest movement or just sitting there. The guy I bought it from said MAc would replace, but I didn't know for sure.

MAC is shipping to me a complete set of slides. And they are attempting to match up a drawer handle covers. It has the alum/chrome style now. I asked about black, but thay said they don't have to fit this older model. I think the black handles a on red looks sharp.

Great customer service over the phone. Just had to send a few photos to confirm model # and it was a done deal.

I just need to figuire out which liners to buy now.

Well I received my replacment slides today, all came in well.

Looking over the slides , extended one just playing around and seen Taiwan stamped inside the slides.

I wondered if they would send usa made or not.

They are decent slides, nice and sturdy.I'm sure they will last and be just fine. I'm definilty not upset by any means, just a little disheartend.

The drawer lip cover that was sent is made is usa though.

Guess its just the way things are anymore. If we are all real worried about these things, guess we need to go and hoard a replacement stockpile.

I still got a lot better deal than what I could afford buying new.
