OK guys, I just bought an older MAC tool cart (MB155UC), 3 drawers, gas shock operated lid, swing out trays on each side under the lid. The thing was full of a bunch of brand new SO tool sets in it. The lid did not work properly due to the gas shock was bent and almost locked up. I've looked locally but can not find a replacment...Will MAC warrenty the shock? If they don't will the truck be the cheapest way to get a replacment?

I don't know if Mac will replace it, if they don't, check out the gas lifts at Auto Zone. I found a set for my KR1200 there, I found out that Snap-on would warranty them before I bought them.

try any autoparts stores... napa should have em.

they might have to order in a certian length for you, but it would be far cheaper than going through ur mac dealer, unless of coarse they warrenty it
