I am looking at this used Mac Tool Chest combo MB8100, MB8030, & MB 8200. Seller says it has the ball bearing slides and looks to be in excellent condition. I talked him down to $750. It will be for home use and would fit my needs nicely. Is this a reasonable price? I appreciate any input. Long time lurker. First time poster.

they proper well made boxes, I picked up a 8100 and 8200 with surface rust spots to blast and refinish .
With the centre drawers and if got all keys and it is proper tidy then price not bad .
Same money only buy china box store brands that fall short of this MAC's stout build and charm .
Prices on used boxes like this vary a lot and condition is big factor as is location and your desire for this style box .
It not dirt cheap but it a decent package for the money and more so if complete and tidy ....

Thanks guys. I looked at a ton of the offerings from the box stores, HF, etc and have not been impressed. These old Mac boxes are solid and just plain old school cool. I am going to pull the trigger on this set and will post pics when they get set up in my garage.

These MAC boxes have decent depth and width and you got bonus of the middle drawer unit too.
If you don't have keys you can either get a key made to the cylinder or get new locks, MAC can supply locks but it easy find locks to fit, check state of wheels too before load it .
Have fun bringing it home ...

The bottom handle in the middle box is for a writing platform. Isn’t a drawer just a flat spot.
