Hello, I am looking at a Craftsman toolbox on Saturday. He also has this Mac Box as well. Can anyone give me an idea how old it might be? I have never owned anything MAC before. It’s a decal, and I am very curious. Any help would be appreciated.

Jayson

MAC decal is mid 60's -70's.

Update, as per jywilli69's info in post #5, it looks like that MAC logo was used from early 50's through the 70's

Well after taking some time to do some research, I was able to find some information online. I found 1952 and 1958 MAC Tools Catalogs and found my box. It’s a MAC Tool Box MB25 here’s the picture. I also found a tool to remove the friction slides, which will come very handy.

Nice find. I've got the newer version of your 6-drawer MAC, mine's from 1963. I can't find the model number anywhere on it. The MAC emblem on mine is not a decal, it's an aluminum plate, riveted in place. The only other differences with mine are the style of the handles (more curved) and there is also a handle on the front lid panel.
