Mac Tools sent me a flyer. On the last page there is a picture of two Die Grinders identical to the ones I got from Amazon.Only these came with a set of bits. The price listed in the flyer was $169.99 I paid way less for these and they were labeled mfd Astro.Think I paid $69.99 This price was for both grinders and the set of dies/bits.

Mac rebrands most of their stuff, Besides the core hardline of sockets and screwdrivers, wrenches etc. AND they usually mark the price up way higher

I just went to Astro's site. This set is now selling for $119.99 on Amazon. The funny thing is the listed price in the Mac flyer was $249.Now on sale for $169.99. If you have more money than brains then go for it.JMHO Ken

The big three do this all the time. Snap-on less so than the other two.

Matco 'just came out with' a drill driven fluid vacuum oil extractor. They didn't even bother to change the name of it in their flyer. Google the name and find it for 1/3 the price from the original manufacturer.

The big 3 are good for hardline tools. Personally unless you really love the valet warranty service it is silly to buy air or power tools from them since they are just rebrands.
