MAC Tools ET955 DVOM - SOLD

MAC Tools ET 955 Digital Volt Ohm Meter (DVOM). Also has inductive spark plug hook-up and test leads. Does Tachometer, Dwell, Duty Cycle, Hertz, Alternator, Diode, Frequency settings and Aux tests along with all the usual DVOM tests. Users Manual, test leads, inductive pick-up and protective carrying case included. This is a really nice meter.

This MAC ET955 DVOM was gently used and is in very good condition.

What is the date of manafacture? 92? Tach fuction still work?

I don't know the original date of manufacture but I know they put "Dated Codes" on certain items. The only one I can find, which makes sense is "K-03S", which is November of 2003. I let my brother-in-law use it and it came back dead. I gave it to the Mac Tool guy I knew and he sent it in for repair. I also have the receipt for it dated 12-5-2003 which I paid $100.70 to have it repaired, (I think they may have put in whole new insides). I'm just trying to get some of my money back. It has only been used around my house a couple times since then. I haven't worked since 2002 due to health reasons.

I hooked it up to the car just now and the tach worked fine, as I knew it would. I also took a pic of it while hooked up. I should have noted that the 099 reading on the meter has to be multiplied by 10, 990 rpm's.

Any other questions feel free to ask. I will send the bill of repair with the meter or can email (or post) anyone a copy if they'd like to see it.
