Mac Tools MB9100/9200 Help

Hi All,

My dad recently gave me his MB9100 / MB9200 as he doesnt really use that box anymore and wanted me to keep it and give it to my son one day as a cool thing from grandpa. Its in decent shape. I am going to clean all the friction slides and grease them up but I am looking for some help on 2 things. Was going to hit them with a degreaser and then put a paraffin wax on them.

1. There is a chrome piece on each drawer that is slightly dented. Its like he tried to move it with a dolly with tools in the box and it dented them. I would like to buy all new chrome pieces that are on the drawers. Any idea where I could find that?

2. The top box lid hinges are broken. Any idea where i could find replacements?

I don't know if you found what your looking for, but if they are available, it will be from Mac tools. When you say the hinges are broke, exactly what so you mean. Post pictures if necessary.

Post pictures of the lid hinge. If it's like mine, it's welded to the lid, but riveted to the box. You can get a metal hinge but you'd have to spot weld it to the box top. Then you need a hefty rivet tool to do the 3/16 steel blind rivets. My little hand riveter just didn't have the guts to do it. I had to get a hydraulic one.i tried one that went on a power drill and it was downright dangerous. It twisted the drill out of my hands and literally nearly broke my hand. I still have a big bruise.
