No way to foresee the seller was gonna do this. Would have been nice though if enough of us could have bought everyone he had before he raised the price. That's alright......Karma's a *****. He'll get his.

It was a smoking deal to start with. Now it just shows the seller had ulterior motives... Its too bad but it really isnt surprising. Our choice is to not buy.

An ulterior motive to make money as a seller?

I typically try to make as much money as I can when i sell things too. If I see something flying off the shelf it means I priced it lower than I needed to...

Exactly! You and me both. Sorry but I like to eat also. One of the main reasons I look here to find tool deals.

It is still a bait and switch tactic... right wrong indifferent... it is what it is.

How is it bait and switch? He isn't advertising it at a lower price, and he wasn't the one to post the link here. There is no promise or baiting of a lower price, and then refusing to honor the promise of that lower price. He simply raised his price, which is completely legal and as far as I'm concerned, ethical too.

BTW, I'm buying one, so I'm not speaking out of my ***.

Guy has not sold any since this morning, but his watchers has increased...... free market goes both ways!:bounce:
If it were the old price, he would have had at least one more sale....I'll wait and see if the seller is following this......
